In this session, an admission officer provides an overview of Knight-Hennessy Scholars, the admission process, and the application. The session includes a presentation, and Knight-Hennessy scholar(s) may join to share their experience.
This event is open to currently enrolled Tsinghua University students, both undergraduate and graduate. We have 25 seats open for this event. Please register with your official Tsinghua email address, otherwise your registration will be declined.
All guests must present a valid Tsinghua University ID Card in order to access Schwarzman College for this event.
Registered attendees can enter Schwarzman College 15 minutes before the session begins. For this session, doors open at 11:15 am. No attendees will be admitted after 11:45 am. Following the conclusion of this event at around 12:30 pm, Schwarzman College’s status as a dormitory means we must ask that all attendees who join us for the session as event guests exit the building. All guests' cooperation is greatly appreciated.
You are eligible to apply to the 2027 cohort of Knight-Hennessy Scholars if you earned (or will earn) your bachelor's degree in 2020 or later. For military (active or veteran) applicants, you are eligible if you earned your bachelor's degree in 2018 or later. Additionally, current Stanford PhD students in the first year of enrollment may apply if starting at KHS in the second year of PhD enrollment.
The KHS application to join the 2026 cohort is now closed. The KHS application to join the 2027 cohort will open in summer 2026.
Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University is a multidisciplinary, multicultural graduate scholarship program. Each Knight-Hennessy scholar receives up to three years of financial support to pursue graduate studies at Stanford while participating in engaging experiences that prepare scholars to be visionary, courageous, and collaborative leaders who address complex challenges facing the world.
