We define legal sex as the current gender marker on your government documents, such as your birth certificate, state ID, or driver’s license. We acknowledge that these requirements are not inclusive of:
-
Intersex students
-
Students who do not identify as male or female
-
Trans students who do not have the resources to legally transition
Regardless, we welcome and encourage students of every sex and gender to apply. If you have "X" or another legal sex marker, please use the following steps to complete your application:
-
Choose either option for sex.
-
On the Additional Background page, you may add a clarifying note about your legal sex.
-
If you would like to share more information, you can also use the gender and pronouns questions on this page of the application.
